Press Shots – Director

Michael from ProFS had me back to capture some appropriate head shots for various upcoming marketing communications pieces in a number of business publications in the Channel Islands. (specifically the first one was Business Brief). The brief was something just a little bit different. Michael is a creative chap in his own right and we’d had a look at some of their ‘little bit different’ marketing campaigns when I was in last time. Looking at how a company portrays itself through it’s own marketing communications (adverts/trade publications etc) can really help me to develop an understanding of their imagery needs.

“I’ve got 20 minutes Richard – go for it.” As a matter of course for all recent shoots, I carry lights/reflectors etc to the clients offices. It takes a wee while to set up and break down but it means that the client has minimum disruption and we can sometimes use the offices/premises to good effect. In this case one of the preferred images incorporated some branding from a temporary marketing banner. What do you think?
