Charity Golf Day

Brief : A midweek 20 four ball event, a request for team-on-the-tee pictures, two photographers, shotgun start, no prints required but pictures to be available on the website after the event and available to order during the Picture Show in the evening. 50% of the sale of any prints to the nominated charity.

Part of the evening entertainment. At an appropriate point we project a collection of the pictures onto a large screen. Over drinks and/or during dinner. You can specify how long that needs to be, around 15 minutes is ideal, but it depends on the size of the field. Fit this in between courses or after the speeches, before the charity raffle or prizes? It’s up to you. It’s always well received and full of fun – we make sure we capture some entertaining images as well as the team-tee shots and the Tiger poses.

We can print the pictures on the night, in branded folder mounts, or we can supply to the organiser afterwards – we can sell the prints to the golfers directly or you can supply as a gift after the event. Regardless, the pictures are available to view on your very own website within a couple of days too. If you want the website to be private we can supply a password and you can forward the details of the website to everyone who attended. We can even arrange for a contribution from the cost of print sales to go to a nominated charity. There are a number of options with regard to the pictures – best to call us and we’ll talk it through.

We’re different because we’re golf photographers first. We don’t do other sporting event photography. We play the game (though not very well) and we understand it. We know where the best pictures are to be taken, where the deep bunkers are (great sandy shots from there). Sometimes the signature holes are not the best to photograph – imagine looking back down at the tee of the signature hole at your club once you have left the tee box – is that the best view on the golf course? That’s the way we face to take the great majority of our pictures. We drive the course before the off and make sure we know the best places for photographing – and then ensure we catch every team as they pass.

Richard has shot on the European Tour and the PGA Europro Tour – he was the official photographer for the International Pairs, the world’s largest amateur golf tournament of it’s kind. His work has appeared in local and national papers and specialist magazines.
